Supervision of juniors and respect of lodge property. It is not the duty of the custodian to babysit juniors, please supervise your junior guests and ensure they respect the others right to a peaceful and quiet stay.

Duty roster. The club runs on a system of duties. The custodian will allocate duties to guests staying in the lodge, please ensure these duties are carried out at the time allocated on the duty roster. If for any reason a duty can’t be done please liaise with custodian so changes can be made, eg a junior may not be able to chop firewood.

Power and Water. Water is stored on site and we have limited supply. All guests must preserve water so we don’t run out. Please be considerate and limit water use were possible.. Please switch off the heaters when not required to avoid unnecessary energy use.

Heath and SafetyYou are required to make sure you and your junior guests understand the key hazards in the lodge, the evacuation procedures and assembly points.

Going Out. If you are planning to leave the lodge in the evening please inform the custodian and let them know what time you will be back. Remember the mountain is an alpine environment that can be dangerous and every precaution must be made to ensure the safety of those entering it.

Lodge Facilities There are, in our lodge, areas made for the long term storage of members equipment, both ski/board racks and lockers are available.  These are hired out over a whole season; please pay for these with your subscriptions.  Due to a large demand for them, if they are not paid for when subscriptions are due, they may be reallocated.
